My three year relationship with San Francisco has sadly come to an end but isn't forever! I have bravely agreed to embark on a wild journey with my adventurous boyfriend to explore the culture, history and beauty that Southeast Asia has to offer. Writing individual emails are tiring yet important, therefore, our blog will serve as our means of communication with our friends and family of where we are going and where we have been. Our blog will not only allow us to share our travel stories and interesting encounters but it will also be from two very different perspectives which I assume will be amusing to most. I will try, but I know I will not be able to pick up the language as well as I may have in Italy since I am still trying to figure out how to pronounce the cities we are traveling to. However, what I do know are the countries we are planning to visit, starting in Thailand we will then head up to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and end our trip in Indonesia in Bali and the Gili Islands, possibly make it to Malaysia. We know that many have already taken this adventure, would like to, or never thought of it. I am fortunate that I have someone in my life who has opened my eyes to other parts of the world and I look forward to stepping out of my comfort zone and once again adapting to another culture.
